At container handling company ASHCCO, the check-in and check-out process is set up more efficiently. Recently, drivers with a CargoCard can check in and out at the self-service counters there. In this way, the loader knows exactly which container can be prepared.
Previously, an ASHCCO employee entered the data. This resulted in long queues at busy times. With the introduction of the CargoCard, these queues now belong to the past. In addition to saving time, the new process is also a lot more privacy friendly. The driver identifies himself with his CargoCard and no longer needs to provide proof of identity.
There are now several terminals in the Antwerp region that accept the CargoCard, including BCTN, Progeco, TCT Belgium and Caru.
